School project from MOME (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest).

The task was to pick a picture (or more) from our favourite artist and make a looping long background. I love the work of Henry de Toulouse-Lautrec and wanted to draw the girls having fun together in a room. 

I added some changes along the project just because I did not like the emptiness of the layout. I think it brings your eyes now to the pianist and helps more to focus first and look around afterward.
Maybe this illustration is not about the background as the assigment asked, rather about the girls but I think the theme to focus on them really fits to Lautrec's art.
